Regular Events

We like to hold regular events at the pub to welcome new people to the pub and help build on the community spirit of the village.

These include a bi-monthly wine tasting club, pizza & pasta nights, BBQ evenings in the summer (see below for more details); monthly live music and quiz nights.
BBQ Night - from June

During the summer months Thursday will be BBQ night when you can choose from a wide selection of delights, barbequed fresh to order accompanied by a selection of delicious salads. [Click here to view pdf menu] . Why not order a jug of Pimms to really give you that Summer chill out feeling.  We have a lovely beer garden to sit in and enjoy the sunshine and light evenings.

Sunday Night Live Music
On the first Sunday of each month we hold live music night where we will try to showcase local talent, offering a variety of musical styles.  If you are interested in performing please contact us to discuss
Theme Nights

We also offer theme nights throughout the year' including Burns Night and  St George's Night.

Keep checking the website for new theme nights throughout the year.
Wine Club

The aim of the club is simply to widen the members’ experience of wine. Wine is such a personal choice that even couples are likely to have different preferences. We hope to bring you a wide selection of wines over the year, coupled with blind tastings, quizzes and a “lite bite”, though we will not be a dining club.

Can’t tell a Sangiovese from a Cabernet Sauvignon? It doesn’t matter! Most of us belong to the “don’t know much about wine but know what I like club”. This is for all of you.

There will be five meetings per year over the winter months. Start at 7.30 pm and finish at 9.30pm.

An annual subscription of £10 is payable together with a meeting cost is £15 to include wine and a two-course lite bite. Occasionally there will be a specialist guest speaker and an additional cost may then have to be made.

The club is limited to 40 members with membership application forms available at the bar or by contacting us by e-mail.

The meetings will be held in the Skittle Alley at the Camelot Pub.
